Getting back on topic....
Walinsky (CDC head wallah) is facing a bit of pressure owing to their claim that "there is a small chance" of a vaccinated, infected, maskless & asymptomatic person transmitting Covid to an unvaccinated person.. but is flat refusing to release the actual numbers (probably because the chances are so remote as to be untraceable)...
I think the actual reason is that there's a bunch of unvaccinated idiots who aren't wearing masks, but are claiming to be vaccinated. Which is most likely also skewing the numbers of *vaccinated* people catching covid. That might given the Biden regime the chance they want to create a list. Newsolini already tried that idea in Calizuela but was forced to make it voluntary & most people told him to fuck off.

Probably? Your belief based on ... ?

Over here it's stated as fact (I've posted gov.uk links) that they can.

Think. Based on ... ?

Over here the NHS has records of who has been vaccinated and tested positive. So unlikely to be solely based on individuals' claims.

We have a big UCPA set up here (French youth hostel/kids holiday camp) and I know a couple of the summer teachers quite well. They are horrified that

- UCPA has NO protocol for dealing with the virus. NOTHING. 100's of kids (from about ages 8-17) turn up each week from all over France, mix together (not parentally supervised kids are pretty yucky!!) and then take all the lurgies/viruses back home with them after that week

- they've had some positive cases - they haven't isolated those kids (well, they've stopped them doing some of the sports, but there is nowhere for them to be separated in the centre - they are making them eat out on the terrace, but they get their food with everyone else from the canteen

- they are now doing lots of tests on site for the 'moniteurs' (sports teachers and other teachers) but don't have a protocol to deal with any positive results (although so far the girls don't know of any moniteurs being positive but with no protocol, chances are that if they feel fine they are continuing as 'normal')

- but because of the huge numbers of 'contact cases', there is now talk that they will close, either for a week or for the rest of the summer

This is a huge organisation and they've had 18 months, almost, since we first went into lockdown. And they haven't set up a protocol???

Why didn't they set up a requirement for the kids to have a negative test on arrival at the train? (1000's of kids turn up to Aix le Bain by train, but accompanied by the moniteurs, then disperse onto various buses going to resorts all around this area - so one positive carrier on the train could mean cases all over the Rhone Alps :o )

If they only had that protocol set up, the cases on each site would be massively reduced - it isn't infallible due to them starting the holiday by public transport. But damn it would have helped

Many of the moniteurs are not vaccinated. Which I don't understand as they are all over 18 and are working with large groups. I suspect this might actually be reason for the closure because of the new law about vaccination, but I've not read enough about the new law to be sure

I am just astounded and appalled that a huge organisation like this has zero protocol for Covid (protecting against transfer and managing if it shows up) after 18 months!! Have the people at the top had their heads up their asses? Or is it a case of - it's kids, they'll be fine??

With no protocol and virtually no management now there is an issue in the centre, I can see the August holidays being cancelled for 1000's of kids. Seriously sux

I have severely diminished lung function from a bout of pneumonia. Sometimes I get out of breath just making a sandwich or standing at the sink doing washing up. That's why I no longer do paint prep that requires a face mask to prevent breathing body filler dust etc.
My idiot doctor who never listens to a fucking word I say keeps trying to put me on a med that I'm deathly allergic to...I literally have to remind him EVERY time I see him.

Well, here's something that states CDC won't (or haven't yet) released data:

Experts ask to see data behind new policy

WASHINGTON - New recommendations from federal health officials this week on when vaccinated Americans should don face masks came with a startling bolt of news: People who have had their shots and become infected with the delta variant of the coronavirus can harbor large amounts of virus just like
unvaccinated people. That means they could become spreaders of the disease and should return to wearing masks indoors in certain situations, including when vulnerable people are present.

But the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention did not publish the new research. In the text of the updated masking guidance, the agency merely cited "CDC COVID-19 Response Team, unpublished data, 2021."

I didn't say they couldn't, I said the chances are so remote as to be untraceable... which is what you actually quoted. So what are the UK numbers for people who have actually been infected by someone who is maskless, vaccinated, asymptomatic & spent 10-15 minutes with the person they infected?

Yes, *think" as in "opinion". I know a few people (half dozen or so) who have stated "The vaccinated don't have to wear a mask, so why the fuck should I?"... but every one of them has been vague on being directly asked if they actually got the vaccine or not.

The only thing missing from that is "According to Jeff Bezos". They're only in business because his money stopped them closing the doors years ago. I'll wait for the CDC to confirm the report.

It does not answer my question.

My question wasn't "tell me about your medical condition"

My question was "Do you actually find it difficult to wear a mask though? Or are you just very happy that your condition/s exempt you?"

But never minds facts, you keep avoiding giving a straight forward answer to a straight forward question, then resort to vulgar language when called out. If you could keep your temper and not resort to vulgarity you could maybe consider a career in politics ?

Young people will be offered discounted takeaways and taxi rides to get their Covid jabs in a bid to boost vaccine uptake, the government has said.

Food delivery and taxi-hailing firms including Uber, Bolt, Deliveroo and Pizza Pilgrims will offer incentives to people to get vaccinated.

The Department of Health said details on more partnerships would be released "in due course".

Wait, so you're incredulous that I mentioned there aren't enough cases/evidence to produce any numbers.. & somehow that's down to me??..

but apparently the UK has numbers/evidence to show how many people that are vaccinated, unmasked, asymptomatic & spent at least 10 minutes with someone who isn't vaccinated, but IS masked, & there's evidence just who it was that infected them?.. & you call my claims incredulous???

On an individual level those won't be the most reliable but taking averages from thousands will be. The UK builds it's infection rates from several sources for the same reason but is open about this, does the US not do similar to reassure people there's no cover up?
