Rebuilding an FCR 39 MX Carb
Finally got the WR450F out of storage, as it's been sat for a while withoiut the fuel being drained thought it would be wise to give it a quick clean.
After ordering the rebuild kit and opening it up, it needs more than a spray of carb clean and a wipe over.
Can anyone recommend where I can get ...

Re: Far Eastern Bike Tours?
Did a tour a few years ago in Luang Prabang, Laos, around the Vietnam and China borders. Great trip through the mountains villages seeing the hill tribes. About 70% off road/30% on road, 1000km in 4/5 days. Food and accomodation included, with these guys https://offroadlaos.com/

Re: Motorcycle Transport services London?
Thanks all for the info.
Its been in storage for a while now, and no MOT/tax etc so may take a bit of work to get rideable, so transport is preferable.

Motorcycle Transport services London?
Hi, need to get my bike moved from Gatwick way up to North London, was considering hiring a van and doing it myself.
But given I'll have to get a ramp, straps, load/unload and take a half day off, would be easier to use a transport service instead?
Can anyone recommend one to use preferably London ...

Having been riding for a very long time, plan is to get the WR450F out of storage and learn to ride it! Would like to do some TET routes, but dont have much offroad experience.

Always regret selling my 03 660 SMC with updated cam and full Akra sorted by Swampy when I mistakenly emigrated to Oz a few years ago.
One of the most fun bikes Ive ever owned despite the 55 tank range!

Always had a soft spot for them one of favourite bikes Ive ever owned, sounded great with aftermarket cans and perfect as a daily commuter down the A40.
Actually sold it years ago to a VD'er Zanx who customised it up AFAIK

Hello!!
Hi,
Was on VD years ago, moved away sold the bikes, had a family and now thinking of getting back on two wheels!
Was surprised to see VD still mentioned after all these years!
Cheers,
Mike
