Re: Terrible Dealerships... What would you do?
Its weird how it works, I found P&H brilliant. Have bought both a KTM and a Ducati from them, the Ducati was for my wife and they talked to her and not through her to me, an experience she has had elsewhere. But agree get the deposit back and buy elsewhere, a phone call is very simple and makes ...

Re: Restomods - what would you have built?
I built and is still in my garage a Triumph Stag. Mk1 Stag Rover v8, 3.9 heads, tubular manifolds, offenhauser low profile manifold 4 barrel webber (like a holly but can change jets from the top), lt77 gearbox. Lowered 2" on Spax adjustable suspension, polybushed all round. Camber adjusters on r...

Re: Classic Cars
No chance of a decent SL at that price. Maybe a rotten one, the bulkheads always go. Funny enough I will be selling one Stag and replacing it with an SL in the near future. Potter I also have an old Snapdragon 747 from 1979 I am rebuilding. Worthless but it was my dad's. Plenty of really good 80s cl...

Re: Classic Cars
I have two Triumph Stags, need to double the budget to get a useable example. Look at Spitfires, but watch for badly repaired models. Anything FORD will be costly. Loads of cars like an A55 will fit the budget. All depends what you want or need out if it. Get a Bug eye Scooby and watch it appreciate...

Re: Wahoo Kickr setup
Erm ok, so the website I looked at said my model Boardman had 142mm spacing. Turns out the 2021 model does, mine is 135mm Should have measured it but was getting late and brain was fried from work. Anyway in the cold light of day it is now fitted. Wahoo confirmed that the cadence meter is not needed...

These are the spacers that came with it. No way of using a 5mm skewer with the 142 mm adapters.

Re: Wahoo Kickr setup
Will do Weeksy. Its a gravel bike 142mm drop out. Skewer is normal diameter. The kickr adapters to convert to 142 mm wide takes a 12mm skewer. I need adapters to use normal diameter skewer with 142mm width. Seems half the bits are missing. Have emailed Wahoo as well

Wahoo Kickr setup
Ok so managed to finally take delivery of my Wahoo Kickr 2018 refurb model. I cannot fit the blooming bike to it 😫 Boardman ADV 8.9 changed the rear cassette on the Kickr and used a 1.8mm spacer supplied by local shop as one did not come with it. Problem is the skewer. Need to use 142 spacers which ...

Re: Beware, EU purchases. Tax and handling fees
I bought a Wahoo kickr direct. Delivered today with no extra cost. Was stuck at Stanstead for a while waiting to clear customs. I have been waiting 3 weeks for a delivery from Jack Wolfskin who are a German company. Lots of delays at the moment.

Re: Cars on your want list?
I Love cars as much as bikes and have been fortunate to own quite a few over the years. Mostly by buying cheap and fixing any issues or restoring them. Current wish list would be a 500sl convertible to replace one of my Triumph Stags but the prices are creeping up big time! Suzuki Jimny as a winter ...
