Dunno๐คท๐ปโโ๏ธ. Depends who you ask. Born and raised in Rural North Bucks, went to school with London overspill kids, spent a decade in the Army with lads from all over, and have subsequently lived in Bletchley, Somerset, Isle of Wight, and the last decade in North Yorkshire. To me, I have a non distinc...

Hi guys, Iโm picking up my first new from the showroom bike for many years next week. What is the current thinking on running in period. My old manโs memory seems to think itโs all a bit unnecessary as long as you arenโt completely ragging the bike into the red zone. And that itโs better for the bik...

Re: Absentee returns
So it looks like summer has arrived in the NW, just as I get a phonecall from the dealer to say my bike has a rear brake light fault that they can't sort. Nice. First warm weekend of the year and I don't have the bike to ride. That's shit new col - but as weeksy says they should sort you out with a...

Steitz steel toe capped boots for walking (used them when I worked trackside and they were brilliant after breaking in) Sandals for everything else (usually Merrel but Teva if they're in stock). Socks with sandals if it's a bit cold. I am issued steitz secure safety boots for work. Probably the bes...

I bit the bullet and spunked ยฃ850 on a second hand, but fully refurbished concept 2. It is a couple of years old but you wouldnโt know it, plus it has an upgrade to the PR5 monitor.

I run a team who shut Motorways when required to do so. We also deal with breakdowns, accidents, suicides, issues and problems on my bit of the network. Been doing it for 15 years, before that I was an AA man for 17 years, before that a mechanic on anything, trucks, coaches, vans, cars, bikes. My l...

Re: Anybody had a wisdom tooth out later in life?
I had two out in my late 20โs early 30โs at Birmingham dental hospital. I wasnโt told that a student dentist (Female) would be doing the work. She had her knee in my chest and was tugging away, sweating and struggling with the big pliers. I could both hear and feel the tooth creaking around, followe...
