Re: Getting glass really clean

Try CT1 good shit as the sealer we use it at work. Sticks like the brown stuff on a blanket Also. CT1 with its unique hybrid polymer formulation has no solvents and therefore will not harm any fish that nibble on the sealant, which is often the case. Many aquarium repair and installers use CT1 and s...

Re: Car park fine and debt recovery agents?

The Popla act 2012 allows the theiving bastards to go after the registerd keeper if they can't identify the driver. So they resort to ghost ticketing by putting a ticket on the car taking a photo then remove the ticket. A month later they send the registered keeper a letter telling them it is now £1...

NSI or Nickel Sulphide Inclusion is what we call it. It's an impurity in the glass. Gets into the glass at manufacturing and over time even years it slowly expands exerting great pressure on the glass. We are talking something. 002 mm in size can't be seen by the naked eye. Dealt with lots of it ove...

Screw a timber rail to the concrete as a bump stop if you feel the wheels hit it you know you are off line. Stop reverse and try again.

I would also like to recomend said Beancounter as being a top bloke a friend and someone who is overly generous in a good way. Who lends an expensive road bike forever to a fat old geezer who can't ride for toffee. All hail the Beancounter. 🤗

Didn't @maccecht whack a car tyre on the back of one of his scoots? I did indeed much to the discust of the doomsayers. I didn't die, crash of otherwise. Done about 4k miles on it. No longer commuting so bike tyre back on but I upset more people by putting on a 150x70 instead of a 160x60 apparently...

Re: Buying used and servicing

My Burgman 650 has 74k on it and had the exhaust shims changed 5 times. Beancounters TDM2 his favorite one ate a valve head due to lack of clearance checks not something that should be ignored. Many bikes check out OK at the intervals but they should be checked never ignored
