No W.O.W/Plasmatics?

My mother unfortunately passed away on the 14th. I am currently trying to arrange things from Sweden including the trip back for her funeral.

And getting massively frustrated with the idiocy of the UK and its covid response. Basically I have to self isolate on entry, a rule that they only just ...

Been in Sweden 2 years and not regretted moving.

But then I was clear that I couldn't bear to stay in the UK in the direction it was going and I really wanted to be in Sweden when I moved. I took just under 2 years to make the plan, travel and explore and be happy I knew what I was getting into ...

Today is a holiday here in Sweden so basically I went exploring again and did this:

Currently "enjoying" the joy of Intermediate Swedish - A Grammar & Workbook, not recommended unless you really want to learn swedish (or as in my case have to lol). Still, it could be worse, I could be trying to learn Finnish lol

Worked half my hours, went out on the bike for a quick spin, 3 hours later am home and working the rest of my hours. Swedish companies are great for flex working especially when the sun is out and its a nice day. Had lunch by the lake at Vista Kulle

Have to confess that I got a volvo XC60 when I got to Sweden. This is the car last winter just as the snow started to come in, got a total of 30cm here last year :wtf: :D

It's not so bad as winter tyres are legally mandated for the winter and they do come and grit every road in Huskvarna, it's ...

No lockdown in Sweden, people are still going out to restaurants and bars as if nothing is happening. ;) :shock:

Mr Longbeard, I know many Swedes who refuse to eat surströmming too!! And no amount of alcohol exists to ever get me to say "ja" to my friend who comes from the north and regularly eats it and says I should try it lol
