Re: Swapping GS for SV650x?

Gedge had the Granpasso! I did indeed..it was an awesome bike, a tad heavy but great fun to ride .. I sold it when we moved house and it became a bit heavy to move about on my sloping driveway..kept it for several years which is testament in itself..several bikes later I now have a Moto Morini Xcap...

Re: How to get away with murder...

Apparently there are two other cases about to get booted before she comes back to work. We have a system here where if you get a Performance Award & the cop doesn't show up, it gets dismissed. I had no idea it could apply to murder charges etc In LA (& probably other large cities) we have a...

Re: One rule for them …

I get the frustration. I get that we are robbing Peter to pay Paul no matter what, however we could have acted differently on Delta. Herd immunity eventually vs herd immunity too quickly and we are over run with all sorts of health pressures. 30% of our already depleted staff are off today because ...

Re: One rule for them …

It’s one disgrace after another. Delta could have been given a much bigger swerve - but here we are again. Count yourself lucky if you are relatively untouched by it all. No it couldn’t Docca. Whether now, next week or next month - it’s coming. As is the next variant. Like it or not, the world is a...

Re: Cyrusher ebikes..

Anything other than a 250w assisted non throttle speed limited ebike isn’t legal and things like this won’t help for those that use legal ebikes. Something like this would be great for my commute though as it’s 9 miles through woods and trails so no one would see me but it isn’t really right. Funny...

Managed another quick 20 miles down the Hayling Billy and across to Southsea including taking a trip ‘abroad’ on a cruise ...well the Hayling Ferry ..but as Benny Hill would say ..’ you try walking it ..’ that brings me to 85 miles in the past 10 days . https://i.ibb.co/nsTs1JJ/E79-B3-D16-05-AC-45-E...

There are usually ways of derestricting a hub motor that doesn’t require a kit ..often the speed limit is set through 2 wires in the controller that can simply be disconnected ..depends upon the model though ..

Didn’t bother waiting for the first service ...25 miles done and found the restriction just too annoying ...so this morning I fitted a Volspeed derestrictor which allows you to choose any max assist speed you want ...I’ve currently got it at 20 and the difference is night and day ( it also irons out...

Re: Voting I.D. Cards

When the ID card thing popped up a few years ago, i policed a demo against the use of cards, with all the protesters chanting about liberties and ‘the man’ ‘big brother’ etc etc. Strange thing was, when being spoken to, some of them really couldn’t get the irony when they demanded that I prove I wa...
