The training is going well, this one is the most promising candidate. Soon I'll have an army of woodlice collecting the dust bunnies.

Free to whoever wants it. It has lifetime map updates too, these should work for the new owner. I'll change the personal details and confirm.

Re: Clarkson’s Farm
I see he knocked over a deer in one of the later episodes. I haven't seen any moaning from the Bambi lovers which surprised me. They could have shown the butchering of the carcass as that would have been quite interesting. A shame as I agree that would have been quite interesting, especially as the...

Laundry sheets. Like laundry powder, sachets or liquid but in sheet form. Minimal packaging and very easy to store.

Beep. Age restricted item. Please wait for assistant. Beep. Repeat ad tedium. One time it was a box of laundry washing sachets.
I generally avoid automated tills.

Re: Insignificant/ Significant things that BYP or just wind you up a little
If there's an area for plates etc to go then I'll probably clear my table. Not always, sometimes you can see it causes confusion. Amusing anecdote from the ferry: I cleared my table despite having the food bought to me. One of the catering crew thanked me and said I didn't need to do it. To my comme...

Re: Insignificant Things That Make You Happy.
The plot is long and thin, and the long edge runs along side the road for about 2/3rds of it's length, the house access being at that point. The front door of the house and the larger window in the living area faces away from the road so arguable the back of the house faces the road. The shed is pla...

I've received confirmation that where I want to build my shed is considered my back garden and therefore the shed is a permitted development.

A combination of my finally remembering to ask and remembering to post on here confirms that they both have full licences. Any bike, any where, any time.

None of these come up for me, but I do have a VPN, an adblocker and as many cookies blocked as I know how to.
Firefox on Linux Mint if that helps.
And a tinfoil hat.

Re: Saw tables or...
What are you likely to be cutting? If it's largish sheets of ply I'd suggest a hand held circular saw would be easier than a small table saw. The small table saws tend to be tad too light to tolerate a full sheet being pushed through them. That said I've not used a track saw, I just use a clamped gu...

Re: Insignificant Things That Make You Happy.
I'm now the wrong side of the island for hearing corncrakes but they've been back for a couple of weeks now from what I'm told. For me it's elder spawn being back on form after a bit of a bad patch. I'd bought some honey without looking at the label closely, spawn moved it behind all the other jars ...

Re: Roller blinds and their brackets
Well I fitted the first one. Yay! The brackets were different but I remove the old ones (which the fitter had used 2" screws to hold in place* ) Screwed the new brackets in place and lo! it fitted. Now for the next couple - there's a range that does up to 3m wide but the pattern/colour...

The XT is such a good looking bike you can't get it badly wrong if you keep the mods simple.
