Dave the cat is going for his 2nd set of jabs Saturday, then a curry with some friend, hopefully try to find time time when it's not raining to get some more running in miles on the BSA.

Going to an exhibition of the works of Raymond Briggs and visiting some Sussex food centre for a bit of a jolly as it's sunny today.
Rest of the week will be made up as it goes along.

That's very social cat, made friends already. Curry? I thought they preferred Greek food like mouseaka.KungFooBob wrote: ↑Fri Oct 11, 2024 8:56 am Dave the cat is going for his 2nd set of jabs Saturday, then a curry with some friend, hopefully try to find time time when it's not raining to get some more running in miles on the BSA.

Neighbours for dinner tonight (not as in eating them, we've made a curry). He's a retired DCI who did, in my opinion and his wife's, too many years investigating murders. He's a nice guy, but a bit odd. Mrs. G says Asperger's, maybe autism. I say fruit-loop. Should be an early one as since retiring he's gone 100% triathlete, so little in the way of drink or food and many an early night for him.
Saturday up early, gym, coffee with the gym crowd after and a lazy-ish day. Will tidy up the garden hopefully. I think Saturday night is free. Result!
Sunday, long dog walk and then more laziness.

Today I will be mainly waiting for Godot.
Or my parcels from ebay, whichever arrives sooner.

I had the same bad reactions last week after I had mine, first time it’s really affected me. Worrying!MrLongbeard wrote: ↑Fri Oct 11, 2024 8:25 am yesterdays double jabs are kicking my arse this morning.
Me, weekend off work so off to the F’s for wine and relaxing before home Sunday so Ocado can deliver then back on my head on Monday. Might change the oil on the car and maybe get a trip out on the bike, weather dependant.
It’s also bloody cold here this morning.
Enjoy, have fun whatever you’re doing

Today: working from the office then home to scream into a pillow until I feel normal again - I have some Palinka from Romania so one or two of those should get the weekend started.
Saturday: Chores, snoozes and will fit my heated gloves lead.
Sunday: Out on the bike - maybe brunch at The Harbour Lights in Littlehampton.

Today, finding the winter linings for my bike gear! Then Doctors appointment to discuss my ongoing issues and ct scan results. Tonight going to my step Dads for a take away and check his food supplies and needs.
Tomorrow domestic chores and in-laws round in the evening.
Sunday dog walking at the coast somewhere...

Mrs.Skub is like a felled tree after her jabs yesterday, may as well have the flu ffs. I wonder if getting the two together is system overload? I don't usually bother with the vaccines, but I have mine booked for next week. Something to look forward to.636mick wrote: ↑Fri Oct 11, 2024 9:15 amI had the same bad reactions last week after I had mine, first time it’s really affected me. Re: Friday thread. The end of the world is nigh
No bad reaction to the recent flu jab other than a sore arm for a couple of days and overheating a tad one night. I won't have both flu and covid jabs at the same time
- when it's offered. Got the covid jab booked for a weeks time and will have a pneumonia jab outside of jabbin' season. I think you can give the ol' autoimmune system too much hammer in a short period of time.

Fri, finished driving home from Dartmoor, partially unloaded car then bed, finished unloading car after getting up, traced reason for house RCD tripping and freezers defrosting for 4 days to Mr Fox chewing extension lead that runs to bike shed to fed Optimate and heaters. Asked mate for price on 40m of SWA. Took freezer contents to tip. Mowed very overgrown lawn, gave car its first wash and now awaiting a Chinese.
Sat, wash car properly, sweep woodburner flu.
Sun, 12hr day at work.

That looks a bit bowel cancery. Is there a vegetarian option?
