There's a growing number of scabby old artic trailers being used as advertising signs at the side of the motorways. My question is: Would you buy something from a company that used one, it seems to me a faintly grotty way to promote your business?

I don't see the point. The next junction is probably 20 miles away so I'm not going to backtrack all that way and try and find a place in the middle of nowhere. And that's even if I was interested in a hot tub.

I wouldn't know about RadiatorOutlet were it not for those scabby artic trailers. I presume they sell last year's radiators that are no longer on trend.

On our little island, all advertising billboards and hoardings etc are banned.

Before the turnoff on the M6 for Morecambe there is an LDV Convoy being used for advertising. Might stop of next time and get some spares.

There's a flatpack Convoy locally, it got lifted as scrap and when they strapped it down it just got lower and lower and lower.

Aye some are bad. Thankfully mine is alloy and fiberglass. Just the cab and chassis to worry about what is good just now. Its in storage just now but ill treat it to underseal at the start of next year.

To put an advertising sign up you need planning permission.

To park a vehicle in a field, you don't....but you can still charge for it.

My friend took on a welding job of a transit during the summer. He was a few hours into it and was wishing he turned it down. Silly git just glanced over it not realising the paint was holding most of the rust in place. My last convoy only had patches of rust in the sear floor and surface stuff in the cab. It was surprisingly a good van/bus and fitted with the 2.4 Ford Duratorq engine.
