Lad who's KTM I fixed has now got a RS660, which of course he had thrown at the scenery in an alarming fashion!
So I get the job of fixing the broken sticky out stuff and his dad will fit the plastics.
So he's scuffed the clutch cover a bit, but had bought a new one (€50) to replace it, and then he's wants me to fit some GB racing covers as well. I did mention to him that the covers would obscure any damage, but no, he wanted it new!
So he gives me the new cover, it's bare. No seals, shafts.....nada!
Tried removing the old clutch arm, no joy whatsoever, so I asked him what he was going to do with the old cover 'bin it!'
Problem solved then!
Dremeled out the lower bearing, in the freezer for a couple of hours, golden.
New shaft and bearings and seal......€170
Today I have been getting medieval on yo' ass
