Brake pads ?
The GS and the MT09 are both in need. GS needs front and back, linked brakes don't arf eat rear pads, already changed once. MT only needs front and is mainly used for trackdays .
Any recommendations for both.

SBS RST front pads seem to be favourite for regular trackday use.

If Galfer pads are half as good on motorbikes as they are on MTB then I'd try them. Their MTB pads are astounding

OEM pads, they cost twice as much, but last twice as long and match your brake discs

I'll let you know next year as I'm not loving the EBC HH sintered ones I put in this year, and figure I should see what Galfer pads are like with Galfer discs

Depends on your riding style. Sintered pads work best with heat and work increasingly well when hot. So if you're out hooning about or doing track days, then sintered are your go to pads. But, they are wooden as fook compared to organic in normal riding and I much prefer organic pads for my riding. Sad to see lot of Hondas OEM pads are shifting to sintered only.

Another vote for SBS. I had the RS in my last Street Triple and then the Speed Twin and they were great.

Sintered pads are also a Bad Thing if you're using cast iron or (more commonly) ductile iron rotors. Sintered pads have a very unpleasant feel with iron rotors, very grabby at low speed, and wear the rotors out very, very quickly. The problem, in my opinion, is finding decent organic pads these days. As my learned fiend Mr Tiepin sez, most manufacturers are quietly dropping organic pads and pushing sintered pads as the default. Less stock to carry, I guess.

I used Ferodo Platinums when I had ductile iron discs.
PFM only recommend one brand of sintered pads, Mintex. I used them once, they didn't wear this discs to bad, but they were totally done after one and a half trackdays, good job I took a spare set.

My BMW came with those, explained it's reluctance to stop - I fitted EBC sintered which I actually quite like.

I've found it quite difficult to get hold of Ferodo Platinum pads in the fitting I need. At present I'm running PFC95 compound but they're very pricey and equally hard to get hold of here in the UK. I'm reduced to scouring USA Ebay, getting them sent to my sister in law and she forwards them to me.
