Luca Salvadori

Post by wull »

Bit gutted to find out this morning that Luca has passed away. I’ve followed him for a good few years now across all the usual platforms, his content was good, plus he was handy on a bike. I first came across him through Alberto Naska’s YouTube channel and followed him since.

Very sad. 32 is no age to die,but the lad packed it in for sure.

For a moment I thought it was Aprilia's MotoGP test rider that had died, but then realised he's Lorenzo Savadori. Commiserations to his family and friends; that is a very untimely passing.

I heard on the Motogp commentary that the rider and team competing against Salvadori in the German Road Racing series pulled out so that Luca Salvadori became champion. A heartwarming gesture not many would have done.

Yeah seen that the other day. They were relatively quick to make that decision and posted it online, I thought I had seen it on here as well but must have been elsewhere.

An incredible gesture.
