I really like the look of that; hardly a surprise, I'm sure. I'd be very interested to know what the ground clearance is like with 17" wheels. I can only assume the shocks are considerably longer than OE.

Nice but having gone down this route bigger tyres stopped mine turning despite longer shocks and an 18" front which should have steepened the head angle. 34mm carbs robbed the bottom end torque. And as a B it really should be orange not blue.
Nice though 😁

It's nice but 2 :hmmm:'s.

1. That centre pipe routing seems to have reduced the ground clearance and it looks a bit 'saggy belly' and

2. (More of a  than a :hmmm: tbh) those mirrors need chucking in a skip.

Other than that it's sweet.

I don't like the front mudguard, apart from that it's good.

Agree. A more period guard would have looked better.

They went with the prettiest colour. ;) I'm idly looking at a couple of lovely Bs and trying to tell myself to fucking behave........ :silent:

A Kawasaki triple with forks that don't bend and brakes that...brake?

It'll never catch on

I love the triples and the sound they make is absolutely sublime, but it's such a shame they never continued to update them with water cooling and reduced engine width. A slim, watercooled triple with decent brakes, frame and suspension would be a weapon indeed.

Although a large part of their charm is the very fact they have an engine that seriously outweighs every other aspect of the bike's performance... :D

The pimple on the nose is the black kick start, first thing I noticed. Did the original have black or silver?

Just had a look at original and chrome is so much nicer and less obvious.

The bars and those silly mirrors spoil a nice looking bike…

I like a bike you really have to look at to see just what they've done to it.
+1 for a chrome front guard tho
