Get home from Manchester tonight, trains willing.

Saturday marks the most important day of the year: my mum and step dad's barbecue. They procrastinated for years about splashing out on a barbecue, so in the end I bought them one. Now, once a year, and once a year ONLY!, it get wheeled out to great fanfare and all the family are summoned to attend and eat some burnt meat and a wilted lettuce leaf. It then gets put away for another year. That said, it does get the family together, and gives us something to chuckle about.

Sunday, probably getting over a dose of food poisoning caused by undercooked sausages.

Today, print some stuff to sign and post. Try and get an appointment with a lady doc for hrt consult. Go out in the sun for coffee!! Try and have a chat with my brother. Chill basically! (Might try and do some stuff sorting out still!!)

Tomorrow - meeting a mate for coffee in the valley, then bimbling about a bit until I go see a doctor to get the medical for my coach licence!!

Sunday - Probably similar!

Downside of having loads of time to do stuff and no money for the fuel to go places and see people!! Hey ho! At least it's sunny :D :D :D :bblonde: :bblonde:
Life is for living. Buy the shoes. Eat the cake. Ride the bikes. Just, ride the bikes!! :bblonde:

Friday, I rode to work(pedal bike), 12hr day and then I’m riding home, my travel pass wallet self destructed in a trouser pocket yesterday and all my passes have been through the wash at home, 25 miles away. D’oh

Sat, day off with Mrs M.

Sun, 12D at work.
"Of all the stories you told me, which ones were true and which ones weren't?"
"My dear Doctor, they're all true."
"Even the lies?"
"Especially the lies."

Today: took the bike to work for the first time. Mostly cos I've been busy with stuff and not had a chance to get out on it for a while, and for some reason was needed in the office on a Friday for the first time in years...
Got free lunch and cake though, so all good. Also made a dent in the communal office jigsaw over lunch 👍🤓, followed by some pool (the new office is cool) 😎

Tomorrow: bonfire 🔥

Sunday: Fly to Romania, assuming Microsoft doesn't go tits-up again 😬

Friday: Tom Petty tribute band tonight. 70 miles away
Saturday: AC/DC tribute band at the same place (maybe). I have a 3 month *season pass* so I can go to any gigs between June 1st & first weekend of Sept. Here's the schedule:
https://wheremusicmeetsthesoul.com/cany ... ls/events/

So *Which Ones Pink?* next Saturday, also Beer Drinkers & Hell Raisers on Aug 9th. Possibly Skynyrd Reloaded a week later.

Sunday:
Car meet early at Bobs Big Boy in Northridge, then the RockStore, followed by the Sagebrush in the afternoon. (taking the F350, too damn hot to ride)

Quite the sizzler yesterday- setting up sound system for riverside festival, sorting marquee & decor....then taking it easy, dabbling toes in the river contemplating band I'm mixing tomorrow then playing with my band = revenge.
