Didn't think that one through properly, did we!

Post by Sadlonelygit »

Went and collected the new Ren-0 today.
Comes with a lot of toys, but swmbo insisted on it having built in sat-nag.
It's tomtom based, so straight forward enough, except when I get to the first junction.
'prenez le rondpoint, puis prenez le deuxieme sortie"
Uh oh!
On the bright side, averaged 3.3l/100km fuel consumption over 140 kilometres home, which should cover all those missed turnings!

3.3l/100km is pretty spiffy though! >80mpg in old money.

Now we have it home, I have delved into the sub menus and found
English (Australian)
Which is fine until we get to a bar, where the sat nav insists we stop for a 'cold one' then get going again!

North of Limoges to chez nous, all s/c 80/90 kmh with a few small towns thrown in.
IF the computer is accurate, then pretty impressive for a 1.5 oil burner!

Which is about what my CB500 has achieved over 12000 miles of very mixed use. :D

Well after a week of Madame Plombepied driving it a couple of hundred local kilometres, fuel consumption has risen to 4l/100km (59mpg)
But its feckin' hot here atm and the aircon is on full chat as well.
