"Remember Me" not remembering me

Post by Saga Lout »

Every day I logon, tick the "Remember Me" box, and every day I have to logon again. How long should "Remember Me" remember me for?

(Firefox on Linux Mint, if that makes a difference.)

Forever is the simple answer. I've yet to 'have' to login once on here, the only times i've been logged out is when testing new accounts.

try deliberately logging out, and logging back in again.

It sounds to me like a cookie storage issue - so is your FF on Mint configured to block cookies by default?

Not as far as I know. It appears to remember me if I close Firefox and open the site again. I've just now changed the settings to allow cookies and site data for this site. I'll see how that goes.

I get logged out quite frequently and I think it's to do with the number of devices I am logged into. It seems to log me out of a device if I try to log onto 3 or more different devices. e.g. wake up and check on iPhone, later on iPad then on PC. If I go back to the iphone I often then have to log in again. Is there a maximum number of devices configured?

No sir, no configuration options in that context. The back end is very very basic for some things, this is deffo one.

Just you, I'm here on my laptop, phone, tablet and PC during a normal 'working' day.

As every cell in Chile will tell
The cries of the tortured men
Remember Allende, and the days before,
Before the army came
Please remember Victor Jara,
In the Santiago Stadium,

Sorry, I see this thread title and remember this song so I though I'd share it
