Anyone near Newcastle upon Tyne fancy going to look at a car for me?

Post by katana »

As I haven't got enough going on in my life. decided to have a bit of an adventure.

Have found an old citroen and fancy driving it to Paris and then to London. Have time for the journey and the car looks a total wreck but the structure and mechanics are good even has an MOT!!!

So would like to someone to poke and back up what the seller says before I try and find the cheapest way to Newcastle....which I suspect is Bus!

A DS? Ooh...nice. Got a link?

PS the AA will do inspections. Something like £140 for one level and £190 for the top level.

I've had the RAC do inspections before and they have been very thorough, even accurately predicting things that would need fixing in the next couple of years.

You might need someone who “knows” about DS’s as they’re a bit weird, and I doubt if the typical RAC person will. Is there a DS club you could contact?
