Sat. Off to Rhyd-y-Felin for a day of riding for the boy, race practice.

4 x 12 hr days delaying trains in a professional manner.
"Of all the stories you told me, which ones were true and which ones weren't?"
"My dear Doctor, they're all true."
"Even the lies?"
"Especially the lies."

Pay day, so Saturday is wall to wall drugs and hookers, then the tiler is doing the kitchen walls on Sunday.
Oh and it's some weird bingo thing tonight that the wife booked with comedians and drag acts.

Shed being delivered today.
Shed (hopefully) being put up tomorrow. F-i-L is helping me, but he's in his 80s and i cant really expect him to work in the rain, nor will he. I have a solar light to go in and i need to get some shelving put up as well and possible a small bench. Looking forward to getting it organised
Sunday, garden stuff, raking top soil into lawn etc.
No BBQs or anything fun as the bastard weather looks to be shite again. I blame the Dubai govt for cloud seeding!

Nothing planned, which is nice though I'm almost bored already.
I would like to take the bike for a spin if the thermometer raises to double figures and the roads dry up for an hour to check the new tail tidy doesn't fall off - that would be nice.
Otherwise, chores, chilling and eating.

Re: Friday thread... Where the Fook is spring ?
Surprise day off today, so bimbling about, making a bakewell tart for dessert tonight as going to some friends for dinner. Well, I might only arrive for dessert as forgot I have physio, but hopefully he'll get a cancellation and I can go see him earlier and then get to dinner on time
Tomorrow, more bimbling about - most people will have left/about to leave, so it'll be quiet. Will probably sort some stuff out so I can go cat sitting with bike gear and a few other things
Sunday - getting a lift to the valley and then cat sit friend is coming to pick me up so I get to have lunch with them, watch the MotoGP and then stay the night. At least I'll meet the cat before I drive them to Geneva airport on Monday

Life is for living. Buy the shoes. Eat the cake. Ride the bikes. Just, ride the bikes!!

Re: Friday thread... Where the Fook is spring ?
Tis lovely and sunny at the mo,so there'll be some bike action after lunch. Mrs.Skub and I are eating out somewhere of her choosing, since it's the last Friday of the month and this is the new law.
The weekend weather looks set fair,so other than more bike action,I have zero plans. Maybe a few walks.

Re: Friday thread... Where the Fook is spring ?
Tonight I'm gonna sort out a weeping joint on the shower I'm fitting in the Gremlinette's en-suite. After that there's not much I can do 'til the shower enclosure gets ordered.
Saturday is an 8.15 gym class in the morning, brekkie, shower, dog walk and then, as if I don't have enough manual labour to do at Chez Gremlin, I've offered to do the skirting and architrave at my mate's house. We're then out that night to celebrate his wife's retirement.
Sunday, I'm gonna take a leaf out of The Priest's book and have a bloody day of rest.
