National change lanes without indicating day

Did I miss the memo?
Did a ride into London today on the M4, apart from low sun, the lane drifters were out in abundance. For those that do that route regularly, is this the norm nowadays. Whipping through Fulham and Wandsworth was a breeze!

Pretty much... driving standards have plummeted.

No one gives a shit anymore, remember Boris's bubble, it's been taken a little further.

Touchscreens don't help either. Some controls need to be adjusted almost without looking. The future ain't that bright. 🤷‍♂️

We used the M4 this afternoon from Reading to the Windsor turn-off (J8/9), and I noticed how bad the driving was, with lane-changing without indicating, drifting partially into the next lane, undertaking, etc. It's not a route I take regularly. The behaviour seemed worse than on the M3, for example.

In Spain it's now illegal and attached to a €200 fine to change lanes without indicating.

Best practice using that little button if you're off to Spain.

Didn't know that! We hired a car there in October, and it had lane assist. I was cursing it for not wanting to let me change lanes unless I indicated. Seems it knew best.
