Friday thread.. the frosty chilly one
Well it's the 2nd weekend of Jan and it's got chilly out there.. Frosty and cold and getting colder apparently.
Fri. WFH then a lunch pedal with @crust and then an evening of chilling
Sat. Off to Bucknell in Shropshire for DH practice for the boy. It's going to be cold for sure !!!
Sun. Likely another local pedal with @crust

I'll, belatedly, be putting more lagging on an outside tap and getting the 'spring cleaning' started...this will involve a skip or two. Anything unused for 12 months+ is a candidate for skip tossing or other disposal. Starting with the garage and garage loft. I may need my own 'Does anybody want a....' thread.

Cheers man
Re: Friday thread.. the frosty chilly one
Today is the last day of my escape to Madeira (nice place - I highly recommend hiring a car or bike to explore the place, it's well worth it), so shortly will get up and have a lazy breakfast, then packing, and we'll be flying back this afternoon (assuming we make it off the runway, it's a bit windy ) and freezing our arses off when we get back by the looks of it
Sat/Sun will involve picking up the dog, unpacking, washing, and starting to prep a presentation for a second interview a week on Monday - tis the season!

No real plans other than decorating. I'll probably be arsed off with it by Sunday though and may go out for a Sunday kebab instead of a roast as we have an amazing new Turkish restaurant opened up nearby and i'm looking for an excuse to return...

Work, late shift today, Saturday and Sunday. It may snow I’m told!! Finished putting reversing camera on the car this morning and coding the front camera.
3 Rest days from Monday so off to the F’s, probably not on the bike though.
Have fun all
Mick

Re: Friday thread.. the frosty chilly one
Bit of a slow day for me today as i have been up since 7am ready for a long 4 hour meeting but our accounts manager is not in now as his son is ill so i have the most of the day off.
Today - Been at a local school (i walked here from my gaff) since 10 and am just waiting for a colleague to arrive to help remove some whiteboards from a few rooms, then i am going to go get my hair cut and make my way back to mine. Will probs start some production this afternoon now since i don't have any work commitments (just have to be on call till 3) then a mate is coming around at 5 armed with cod chips and peas of the mushy variety for a night in the studio.
Sat - Fuck all.
Sun - Over the parents for a roast dinner then back to mine to meet my mate snoopy. We are going through a few tunes ready for his set at Trinity in a few weeks. He has his sound system there in full capacity so will be a good night.

If this lurgy doesn't go asap, I may be trying to work while feeling pretty rough
But, as ever, weekends are work for me, so a bit of office and a bit of driving

Re: Friday thread.. the frosty chilly one
This could finally be the weekend that the Triumph ends up back in one piece.
Rear caliper got rebuilt last week but didn't get round to refilling and bleeding it as it was too effin' cold in the shed. Once that's done it's try to find enough bolts to put the plastics back on - bikes been in pieces so long half of them have been kicked around the floor a few times
