Turning a Duke 690 into a cafe racer is a fairly obvious way to go and this looks like fun, but if I was doing it I'd have used the R model as a basis, not the cooking version. It also looks like he's converted the throttle from ride by wire to cable (although I can't be completely sure about that). His mirror design is very pleasing, but not sure about the switch from cast wheels to spoked either. Paint is genuinely eye-popping, and all the better for it.

Lots to not like.
The alloy box.
The flat lines of the tank and seat.
The headlamp shroud.
The manky colour.

Actually,all the above is a waste of time,it'd be easier to state what I do like.

I assume, if you lift the seat pad, the alloy box is storage? If so, it's a better use of space than...Err...just space.
