Front wheel not centred

Post by Jody »

Hi all
Lapiere zesty 514 2013
Wheel is badged as Shimano Deore XT

No idea how I haven't noticed this before but here we are!....

The front wheel is not central in the forks, it's off to the left (disc side) by 3-4mm

What can cause this and how do I fix it?

In simple terms, it's called 'dishing' basically you'd loosen the spokes on one side, tighten the ones on the other side.. That essentially moves the hub over to the left/right accordingly.

It's a bit of a dark art so i'd be asking the local shop to do so personally.
