Delivered by 9am this morning, taxed and insured and bimbled...
It's exactly as expected, not much go but seemed happy at 60. Think there good for 70 odd but no need today. Very pleased with overall condition, very comfortable starts easy, need to check oil level again, seemed a bit low to me.
Took to the back lanes and its really good fun, relaxed riding and just enjoying the day. Turning circle is very good, unlike MT. Gear changes seem nice enough, do need to use both brakes, front seems a bit lazy.
It is a bit quiet but think I'll leave as is I'm not gonna spend any money on it, it is what it is. But for a little runabout it's just the job. 34 happy miles done.

The front brake on mine is quite poor. The disc was warped so I replaced it with an EBC, then fitted a braided pipe and EBC pads with a full fluid change... It wasn't much better.
You definitely need to use both brakes if you want to stop in a hurry, yours will have a rear disc where as mine has a drum (yours will have ABS too).
Mine makes me smile when I fire it up, it's got one of those cheap, short reverse megaphones pipes and it's quite loud. An air cooled, long stroke lazy single makes quite a distinctive noise on an open pipe.
Mine doesn't have a cat and is running a PCV and a K&N, it's still dog slow:)

Get a proper paper copy of the Hitchcock's catalog to sit and read on the bog, I guarantee you'll spend some money on it

Quite a purdy bike in it's own chugging way.
Health to enjoy Dodgy.

Not really my cup of tea at all, but variety is the spice and all that eh !
- it definitely has a certain sort of style - I see it looking right at home in pretty much any Bollywood film , with the handsome male hero zooming up to the camera and doing a big back-wheel skid on the gravel before he rescued the beautiful young girl from her wicked uncle and whisked her away at top speed, side-saddle on the luggage rack - just needs some long colourful tassles from the bar ends and a lot more long-stalked mirrors

)
Seriously though, it is one of those bikes that would always make me smile looking at it, and wanting to see what the person riding it looked like - Love it
