2004 Aprilia RSV1000R Factory
12k miles, excellent mechanical condition (throttle bodies balanced and bill of good health from AP Workshops this year), few marks commensurate with year but in good condition overall.
Will take more photos when I’ve cleaned it properly tomorrow.

Some more details and photos...
Firstly the mileage... The odometer reset in 2011 at roughly 2000 miles. It also reset at 10,900 miles last week and is now showing zero miles. This means that the bike has done in the order of 13,000 miles and the mot history backs that up. I've only done a couple of hundred miles on it at most this year. This is why I'm selling it, I'm just not that in to sports bike at the moment and it's not getting any use.
The MOT is due in November so I'll get another 12 months put on this this week.
The condition is good but there are some marks on the bodywork from being rubbed in the garage I assume. They're not bad enough that it's from a drop I don't think. You can see these in the picture of the right side of the panel. There was also some bubbling on the tank on the left hand side as is very common on these bikes and with most bikes with plastic tanks from the time. I drained the tank and kept it some where warm for the winter but it didn't pull the two large bubbles back in. The choice was either to paint the tank, get a second hand one or something else. In the event I cut out the bubbles because I didn't want the problem spreading and made some custom tank grip pads from 2mm EVA foam in a grey/silver colour. I've used this on track bike as it doesn't soak up water, doesn't damage your leather, is comfortable and easily replaced. I'm not selling this as a mint bike and couldn't justify the full respray but also didn't want to hide what I'd done.

- Oct 21, New reg/rec and wiring repairs
- Sep 21, New cam chain tensioners
Tyres are Bridgestone S22s with plenty of life in them.
I have two keys for this bike and the swingarm recall has been done.
The bike is ready to ride.
This is the bike starting from cold having been previous run two days earlier...

This shows you what I've done to cover the bubbling paint on the tank. The first picture shows the large bubbles I've cut out to stop them spreading and the tank grips I made to fit the bike...

I'm already restoring one bike and have another one waiting, the last thing I need is to start stripping this down.
Besides, it's in good condition and worth the money I think. If I spent more money on it I'd never get it back and I find it too uncomfortable (at my age sonny) to be a keeper even though it looks and sounds amazing.
