Is it just down to technique ?
It seems to be the invention of a system so they can just try and sell you a 70 GBP bleed kit. What real world advantages does it deliver ?

It creates a fully sealed system, which the others don't do.
You open, fill, lock-it/close, remove. So there's no fluid loss, no effort.
Think of any of the others even Shimano bleed cup, you can't 'fill' it more or less, you need to fiddle about with it and get it 'right' then as you screw in the little bolt it pisses fluid... Don't even get me started on replacing the cap on a Hope system and the crappy bleed system for that... it's garbage.
The bleed kits are buttons from Ebay and no need for a fancy SRAM one.

The bleeding edge port doesn’t hold firm ( push in, one rotation anti clockwise) - lead to be getting pissed all over in brake fluid. As for they to get the tiny torx cap onto the lever end with out pissing fluid everywhere must be a talent only known to you!weeksy wrote: ↑Wed Aug 30, 2023 11:30 am It creates a fully sealed system, which the others don't do.

Don't bother with lever end.
It stays in, it clicks when it locks into place. Just needs to be right, honest

my mate is a mech in a big bike shop and says that he really likes them because they're quick and easy to use.
If you have fluid going everywhere then that doesn't sound quite right
