Poor bugger. Once he started drifting, he never had a chance of getting out of that.

This is a good illustration of why UK rider training is NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE.

CBT is totally inadequate for riding on L plates, and it's hard to understand why instructors are still actively discouraged for explaining how a bike steers by the DVSA.
