Often, with these bikes, there's comments about aesthetics ('hole' under the seat), practicality (mirrors, mudguards, even riding position).

But this build adds a new one.

Winglets

On a brick, with the aerodynamics of a ....


Anyway. The odd thing is that I like the look of this one. Don't know why :( Possibly because of one thing: many K builds don't tidy the lower front edge of the tank, but this has the extra panels.
Even bland can be a type of character :wave:

I guess, with the angle of that exhaust, you wouldn't want to leave it standing in the rain.

That paralever back end is far too long, looks like a dragster.

Has every single K series BMW ever made been given the custom treatment? It would seem so given the proliferation of them.

My 100 is still standard, minus the fairing in summer.

I can see why they fit clip ons, removing that big fairing makes them a bit flighty above 70 with the high standard bars.

It’s a peach of an engine even if it only 80 odd bhp.
