Just seen that myself …. Wonder where O’Halloran will end up next year but no doubt a team with that profile will be a big loss to the BSB paddock

It's been common knowledge for a few months, also Rokit aren't guaranteed for next season.
Racings an expensive sport & the paddock's pulling in it's purse strings, there'll probably be more announcements in the next couple of months.
Next question will be who's moving to which team for 2024 as there will be less seats available.
In more immediate news, who's Davy Todd going to be riding for & is Clive going to put another rider on the Superbike.

What's happened with Davey and the Padgetts superbike ride? I was surprised to see him in the SS class at Brands.

The move for Todd into BSB on a superbike was, to me, a trial run that didnt quite work as he seems not to be able at the moment to adapt to short circuits like a lot of the TT superstars. I wasnt that surprised when they pulled the plug on the Superbike season but i guess the 600 was a lower cost option for him to still race before they made the announcement.

I was surprised they have split completely so can only assume Todd has had another offer as Clive "seems" loyal to riders over the years ....look at Conor Cummins for example who will probably never win a TT but always places well and has had a few podiums for the team but in the BSB Superstock class is a midfield runner.

Thanks Bigyin.

I think it's a bit harsh to say he can't adapt to short circuits; he is, after all, the current STK 1000 champion, so he knows how to peddle a bike around a short circuit. Connor is a great TT rider, but he's not at the top of the STK 1000 class, so that shows Davey can adapt to the short circuits.

Perhaps Padgetts couldn't put a bike under him that was competitive in BSB? Pure speculation, of course, but there is a massive difference between running a STK 1000 bike, and running a full Superbike.

Yeah he’s fine on short circuits, you don’t win the stock championship if you aren’t, he obviously just struggled on the big bike in the main championship.

My post should have read “adapt to short circuits on the Superbike” as the Superstock champ ….. i didn’t realise I missed those words till I came back to it today
