Hello everybody,

Post by hawker »

Thanks Weeksy for setting up this new escape from real life. As most of yu probably know, I cannot ride a motorbike anymore following my cycling accident in August 2012? Hard to believe that eight years ago from today I was still 100% okay and two days away from a life-changing crash in a local race. But at least it was not life-ending! Carer-ending but I have eventually got over that aspect! |Thanks are forever due to my loving and supportive wife and family, all of my friends including those on Rev-counter of course, and ex-colleagues from work. Plus my super-duper consultant neurosurgeon and staff ho put my skull and body back together. I received an implant , no, not a new brain, that drains excess fluid from inside my skull and the consultant has fixed it when it got infected and went wrong. He told me that he's only ever had two of these shunts go wrong and both have been mine! Oh, so are you saying it is all my fault then?? He laughed and replied, "Well yes it must be!"
But it is okay now so that's good as my bran can work better that way!

So hello everybody, nice tosee yu again after all this time!!

You do realise you cant backdate the excuse so that kind of screws it up ;)

Hello mate. My dear old cat says you are one of the good guys, and that's good enough for me. Although he is in fact wrong on most things, but hey.

Good to see you found the place. Great to hear that the recovery continues despite the odd stumble. Didn't you find another career starting to turn out books about your life at work?
