Looks like kawasaki have found a market for those ZXR400's people on this forum have mentioned.

Interesting that they say the BMW Cup "Combined rider and machine weight to be implemented with immediate effect" but do not state what that will be....

I would guess there must be a 30-40kg difference between, for example, Richard Cooper and Ali Fagan.

I think the BMW cup weight rule was brought in because Cooper is usually on the top step of the podium

Richard Cooper is old school the way he races in loads of classes. To win or even be up at the sharp end on very different bikes is a talent in itself. I understand the concern and maybe the need for a weight limit,but I hope it doesn't hurt Cooper too much.
