Any road cyclists in here?

All the threads seem to be about off road cycling, something I don't do.
I do ride my road bike most days, around the Ashdown Forest area of Sussex.
I've been furloughed since April, so plenty of opportunity. I loved cycling in the spring, on the deserted roads.
I haven't done very much for the last couple of years for various reasons, mainly lack of time. My fitness is a bit better now and I'm on 1799 miles so far this year.
Anyone else?

I have started to commute by cycling, good so far, looking forward to it cooling a little. Got a decent hill on the way home. But I’ve never gone out for a road ride for funz

Only really you and Hawker (who's joined but not posted much). Crosshair used to Roadie, i've done plenty of roadie stuff, so has Crust, but mostly yeah we seem to be MTBers at the moment over here.

You called? :o
Yep I do road-riding nowadays, but used to race off-road back in the day. But now, Ninja, I stick to the road competing as a para-cyclist since 2015 for reasons most people on here probably know?

. How can I help you Ninja? Cheers...

I'm mainly a road cyclist however since buying a Peloton bike in February I have clocked the majority of my miles sat in our office at home!

I'll be a bit more of a road cyclist once I can sneak away from 'work'.

Maybe so but I just doi what I can. Off-road is tricky for me nowadays after my injuries.

What riding do you do? Commuting? Racing? Touring, or A combination of those?
Cheers.

I don’t really like being classed as a roadie but it became undeniable for a while.
I never gave up my SPD’s mind you 8-)

After my first ride back last weekend, I don’t think I get to pick a category. I’m just an unfit bloke on a bike.

I don’t really have any mtb aspirations these days so I guess I still qualify as a roadie/Zwifter as I’d love to get fit enough for the local chaingangs /group rides next spring.

Old? Have you mixed me up with the others in here, I'm positively a teen compared to most

I only do road riding.

Currently on a beater stripped down single speed for weekend pootling with the missus.
And a, better, geared decathlon jobbie for morning exercise during the week.

It's the only form of cycling I do.
3 maybe 4 rides a week, solo or with a small club group of 6 maximum.
Bloody hot of late so feeling knackered after the long Sunday ride.

I'm a roadie, don't post a lot though. Currently closing in on 10k miles for the year (mixture of real life and turbo miles). Ride most days.

Wow, that's good going!

I thought I was doing well with 2000 miles this year.

Roadie here too, bin one since channel 4 started showing the tour and Robert Millar started winning hill stages. Off and on in the following years, sometimes mountain biking more sometimes back on the road. Blessed with fantastic road riding from the door and the hassle of getting ready for mountain biking is becoming tedious has saw me doing more road of late.

I do a hit of both. Not been out on the roadie for a couple of months though.

Roadie too, have my road bike setup on Zwift as I bought a new Gravel bike to be my road steed as it is more comfortable on shit roads.

I much prefer gravel bikes with wider tyres for road riding.
When I wrote off my last road bike, a Mason Definition, I never bothered replacing it.
I've got a Bokeh gravel bike that I've had for about three or four years and it's been my road bike throughout. It's done Alps trips, the Cingles challenge and a few Classics sportives and I've never thought I needed a proper road bike instead.
