That's properly lovely, really do like it.

In the traditional spirit of negativity, however, I'd be happy with maybe a slightly lower-spec front end. And the levers are too high.

It's a bit garish for my taste, needs some RWU forks on the front & not being a fan of bobbers,a different back end plus different silencers.Spoked black wheels & classic speedo & tacho would improve the look. The paintwork looks nice & I like the headlight

Looks more bar hopper than canyon carver, but a nice job regardless!

Looks like it's had an unfortunate accident with a chainsaw, back end is far too short. That's a front tyre on the back wheel and those dellortos will be a PITA.

Is there an 'engineering' reason for not painting the carbs black too?

Loads of little nadgery bits for paint to get where it shouldn't, they're full of petrol (in places) and they've got a few sealing faces which need to be smooth and flat. Even more complicated by the fact that if you have a painted edge butting up against a bare metal sealing face you've got a great place for petrol to get under the paint and make it peel.

Possible, but much more difficult.

I suppose technically anodising is an option. Black anodising is dead cheap too, cause 99.9% of colour anodising is black!

It seemed that, with the detail work in everything else, the bare metal looks unfinished.

It's well done, but I don't like it, and I'd avoid owning another bike with Dell Horrible carbs
