DRLs

Post by Dodgy69 »

Just picked up a 2010 mondeo titanium x for lugging big stuff and bikes. O/S drl doesn't work. Been searching and all i can find is that drls are not an mot requirement on pre 2018 cars, even if fitted. So me thinks my old motor should be OK.

Anyone know any more. 🍻

The kids car passed its last MOT with the DRLs switched off, so can't see them being a requirement?

Yeah you’re spot on, the DRL’s should not be tested if pre 2018 regardless of whether they work or not.
