I like it.
Better with a narrower, different colour seat, but otherwise, yup it's a 'gizza go mister'.

It says it has 'tiny Motogadget turn indicators'. They're so tiny I can't spot them!
WRT comments on another thread - the headlight nacelle is 3D printed. It's pretty amazing the stuff they can do now.
Having read the article I think I like it even more.

Look *really* closely at the rad shrouds. They truly are tiny.Count Steer wrote: ↑Thu Jun 15, 2023 9:34 am It says it has 'tiny Motogadget turn indicators'. They're so tiny I can't spot them!

Aye my thoughts exactly- end can needs to be higher up and bigger (looks a bit phhht and weedy IMO) but apart from that, it's bob-onMyLittleStudPony wrote: ↑Thu Jun 15, 2023 7:57 am I don't like it.

Re: DESERT RAIDER: A YAMAHA TÉNÉRÉ 700 WITH RETRO DAKAR STYLE
Doesn't do it for me,the only thing retro to my eyes is the variation on the speedblock logo.
The styling doesn't flow..
The tank's to angular,it needs to sit lower over the top tube & be more rounded,.
The headlight cowl has a squarish apperture for round lights,I think it would look better with one or two round appertures.
That said, they've done a better job than I could..

Like all of these bikes, I'd like them far more if they were actually used as intended......

Absolutely nothing redeems that hideous mess.

It's certainly polarising opinions.
I'm on the 'quick nurse, the screens!' side of the debate...

Is it just me or do LED headlights look absolutely crap?
Blundering about trying not to make too much of a hash of things.

Finally, a bike that makes my KX l(even with the four vallon desert tank) ook well formed.
I half like it, not checked the spec but it looks lIke its got a proper airfilter? Thats a good start and automatically puts it in the top 10% of these specials.
Its as blocky as a LEGO BMW though.

As with every bike based on the Yamaha CP engines 700 or 900 they are too tall and proportions are wrong
