An 8Kb size limit would be an improvement over the 7Kb limit (says the guy who tried about 20 different avatars, all of which were 8Kb...)

There is a technical answer: resize the one you like to make it smaller.
Even bland can be a type of character

Just tried again.
Original attempt had it telling me all the avatars I tried were 8Kb & they had to be no bigger than 7Kb.
Just tried the exact same avatars again & now it's telling me they're all 9Kb & they have to be no bigger than 8Kb. Not sure how they all managed to get bigger over the space of a few hours.
& you would have got a *please* if I had asked you to increase the size of the files allowed, but all I did was make a statement. Then you chose to make the allowance bigger out of the goodness of your heart.
