I think I like it. Deffo better looking than the current model naked XSR, imho.

Would like to see it with indicators and front lights.

That looks nice - definitely would and I get the feeling it would look fine without the race numbers and having road-going stuff fitted. Go on, Yamaha, do it.

With the current retro trends in biking it would probably sell better than an R9.

It could do with a bigger seat hump, about the size of a YZF 750 seat, but then it would look a lot like a YZF750

It is a YZF750 fairing.

Not keen as i'm not keen on the XSR. I dislike the horizontal tank and seat. Looks dated. On the plus side they've lost the hideous backlight!

I like it. It looks nicely proportioned and the paint job is

Looks a tad gape-ey from the front...a bit like a blue whale after a mouthful of krill. :D That's just a minor obs though.

I like that...

But when I rode the 2019 XSR, I found it one of the most imprecise steering bikes I'd ridden for a long while - I could never tell whether the bike was headed for the ditch or the tarmac. I hope the change of riding position and a bit of suspension set up might have changed that.

That's bloody lovely, the seat unit makes it look very long though.
