It was going quite well until I saw the exhausts

Looks a lot better than a Shadow! But the forks retaining the cruiser rake/trail make it look a bit odd as a roadster. Other than that I like it.

Different exhaust and a single headlamp and it would be a definite maybe.

Doubly daft 'cause it looks like those bends are pretty much constant radius and hence the ideal shape for a traditional bender*. This whole scene does seem like an ever escalating "who can build something from the most unsuitable/unremarkable donor?" competition.
*like you used to get in Wimpy I assume

That must steer like an oil tanker!
Ditch the exhaust for trying too hard, keep it simple....

A combo of a cruiser and a flattracker - the combo nobody asked for.
Apart from that - and the stupid exhaust - I quite like how clean and well-finished it is.

The exhaust & rear number plate holder would have to go.The steering geometry looks wrong, but apart from that,it looks good.

As a former 600 shadow owner I can confidently say that's a 100% improvement, it'll be dog slow, pig heavy and steer like a whale, but it'd look good outside of a hipster coffee van.

It's as if someone asked an AI to produce an image of a cafe racer.

I tried a different AI, this one likes melty tires.

Looks like it's being watched by Wall-E.

The irony - Dall-E just gave me this:
I'm trying to get MidJourney to make something but Discord confuses me...

Well, the engine looks like a Dali, it's sort of melted and been stirred a bit.

Nothing from Midjourney yet, but I found this that it had made from someone else's prompt whilst I was checking. I take it back, the AI stuff is better!

Re: FAMILY HEIRLOOM, REBORN: HONDA SHADOW 600 CUSTOM
The AIs seem to have taken on board that café racers were a 60s thing and ignored the modern takes on them.
There's a few non-60s touches like twin disks but no bar-end mirrors or brown seats. (Also I don't think the hole behind the engine was typical in the 60s was it?).
Wonder what you'd get if you asked to see what they will look like in the future?
