Why was 'Current affairs closed' ?

I'm sure a couple of people are curious and noticed last night the Current Affairs/Politics section was closed..

Simple answer.. I'm fed up with people just being completely and utterly pathetic in there. It's honestly just a complete bitch fest of ridiculous ming mong ping pong and i got sick of it.

I'm not saying that we can't disagree on things, not for a second... but there a limit to how much of it i can put up with.

You're all supposed to be grown ups.. You forget, we want to attract members to the forum, not make everyone think it's a pathetic hornets nest of idiots arguing...

I'm not looking to be a dictator, i was just seeing it was verging on going full-rant-fest again (and again and again) and thought i'd give people a little time to sit in the naughty corner and have a little discussion with themselves
