Does this look unrestored to you?

It seems way too fresh and shiny for a 1969 motorcycle,so I'm having a hard time believing.

Depends where it's been stored.It could look like that if it's been kept indoors.I'd be wary of the crank seals after being parked up for so long.
One of my old mate's kept his FZ750 on a bench in the living room,my dad's next door neighbour has a Ducati in the house.
If it's been restored they should have cleaned up that patina on the cooling fins on the front of the cylinders.

Yeah,there are signs of age here and there,but it still looks like it's had new stuff. You are right,at 8k I daresay it'll need engine work before use.

That bike, of that year and that colour scheme was the one that I saw being given the standing-start treatment in 1969. Looking at the incredibly spindly fork legs, wheel spindles, frame and swingarm tubes and puny brakes, I'm now rather glad I couldn't afford one back then.

But the paintwork and general finish is so good it must have been stored in a temperature controlled vacuum chamber to be genuinely unrestored.

Ok, there's no rubber rot to be seen on that bike, at all!
My late cousin in law was an avid collector of anything 2t Kawasaki. He would travel all over Europe buying bikes.
No matter how well loved or preserved any of his purchases were, they still needed airbox rubbers, footrests, fork dust covers etc.
Be interesting to see what engine fasteners it has as well, should be Edam screws!

I suppose it's very possible that it's not been restored as such but has had any number of bits replaced.
