Interesting, I get, or can if I bothered to activate it, Discovery+ 'free' through SKyQ, will have to see if they charge extra for sports

Re: TNT Sport - BT Sport/Eurosport no more
Currently Eurosport comes in my Sky package and I have to pay extra for BT sport. If Eurosport and BT Sport are under a single banner,I bet I'll be paying more.

I subscribe to Eurosport for BSB.I also like cycle racing & that's on Eurosport but I watch the cycling on my GCN app.
This quote is of interest to me; ' Pricing and packaging options are yet to be revealed, but motorcycle racing fans will no doubt hope for a reduction in costs and the opportunity to pick a package which only includes motorcycle racing;.'
I'll be looking for the motorcycle racing only package,I've absolutely no interest in paying extra for football or car racing

That's what I hate about BT Sport. I only have it for Motogp,I have zero interest in any other sports,so the channel isn't used in the off season, but it's still paid for.Bustaspoke wrote: ↑Thu Feb 23, 2023 6:13 pm I subscribe to Eurosport for BSB.I also like cycle racing & that's on Eurosport but I watch the cycling on my GCN app.

Re: TNT Sport - BT Sport/Eurosport no more
I had BT Sport back before they covered football, when they took over the football I cancelled the app.
I can remember phoning them up & the operator said something along the lines of 'Good morning welcome to BT Sport home of Champions League football',I replied yes & that's why I'm cancelling my subscription.I'm sure other people also cancelled..

Re: TNT Sport - BT Sport/Eurosport no more
Eurosport comes as part of my sky package as does quest so that’s the BSB and WSB covered. Apparently I can get Discovery + for free on my current package so that’s BSB and WSB covered from what I have read.
I currently watch MotoGP on my sons BT sport login when the races are live and I am free to watch them but other races when I am working I get them from a download site a day after so will be beneficial to me if they end up on Discovery + as a freebie but I very much doubt it

Re: TNT Sport - BT Sport/Eurosport no more
It would appear my BT contract is at an end (phone & broadband) and off the back of that I was getting BT sport for about a tenner I think. It's now £30 per month so I either need to get a new contract or jump ship.
Anyone heard anything about what's happening in July yet? I'm a bit loathe to sign up for another 18-24 month contract to find I'd have been better off moving elsewhere or waiting to see what happens with TNT sports.
I'm guessing my options are
1. pay £30 a month till July and see what happens
2. do without till July but that's a bit bobbins
3. jump ship to a Dorna pass
Anyone use the Dorna pass? Any good? Can you get it as an app for the TV or will I have to use a laptop and connect/cast to the TV?

Re: TNT Sport - BT Sport/Eurosport no more
I tried really hard to get eurosport or discovery+ using a thingyamywhatsit!! Sadly, they could tell, somehow, so I still can't see BSB or WSB - and it seems that Canal+ now require you to pay for each MotoGP

Re: TNT Sport - BT Sport/Eurosport no more
I have Discovery+ so I’m guessing I’ll be able to watch MotoGP when they take over, at least that’s how I’m reading it. The price will probably go up but I don’t mind so long as it’s not ridiculous.

Re: TNT Sport - BT Sport/Eurosport no more
It's looking like Eurosport will trundle on for at least a year after the BT/Discovery merger,so we really don't have the full picture as yet.

"BT Sport will rebrand as TNT Sports from July this year, with Eurosport to follow some time after the Paris 2024 Summer Olympics. It is expected that Eurosport’s rebrand will be complete before the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics, meaning that for a time there will continue to be two brands in the UK and Ireland. Eurosport is not going to change its brand in Europe".

I like watching MotoGP so forked out for a video pass.
There's more than one Firestick TV software supplier, so take your pick. Download, install, pay the subscription and watch.

If it was possible to record programmes,I'd be all over one of those, but I don't ever watch live TV,so I need to suck on the Sky tit.KungFooBob wrote: ↑Tue Apr 25, 2023 5:04 pm You want one of them hooky Firesticks from the bloke down the boozer.

Re: TNT Sport - BT Sport/Eurosport no more
Mine has MotoGP also, via BT Sport. The reason I subscribe to Videopass is that I'm invariably doing something else when practice and racing is on, this way I can watch when I choose.
