Hi everyone, I hope you are all well.

I have some RST adventure gloves and they are my favourite summer gloves apart from their lack of touchscreen compatibility. I use my iPhone 8 on the bike (with a UA case) and so have to stop and take a glove off every time I want to change a route turn music on/off etc. What I would like is something very similar with touchscreen fingers but after lots of googling I have yet to see anything that might work. It's not bugging me so much that I have stopped using them because they are such great gloves but the extra convenience would be a bonus.

If anyone can suggest gloves to take a look at or if there is a hack to make my RST's work with touchscreens (which would be even better than new gloves) I would love to hear from you.

You need to stitch (or wrap if you're lazy) some conductive thread around the finger on your existing gloves.

There used to be some stick on things, but I think the conductive thread is a better longer lasting option.

I bought a couple of little touchscreen pens for about a quid. Then glued velcro around the pen and a strip on the phone cover. Works well.

Thanks for the replies. Conductive thread or patches on the finger tips is worth a try. If it works I'll let you know.

Update on this today.

I got these https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B07 ... UTF8&psc=1 from Amazon. GloveTacts stickers and put them on today. They are wafer thin with really strong adhesive backing and very flexible so they won't peel off. First trials have been very successful and they give very accurate selection on my iPhone 8 screen. I'll check back in a month or so with a longevity report but just wanted to confirm a solution for anyone else looking for the same.

Update:
After three weeks and 6-700 miles I am back where I started. The tips have begun to peel and I now have a sticky mess on the fingers.




So the search goes on and I would say don't bother with these stick on patches for motorcycle gloves.
