I’ll be back to finish off the rebuild of my Ducati Monster 696 thread. Still haven’t finished the damn thing, can’t find anyone to do the paint.

Work back in London now so decided to buy a commuter bike. Old BMW F800R possibly.

@WiseBuddha was here on the island last week.
Our plans didn't coincide.

He was born here and moved to Bradford.
I did the exact opposite.

There are a few rebuild threads on here with excellent results from various painters around the country. You should find one in one of those in the projects forum

So an update on this and I’ll start posting pictures again soon. Found a fab paint shop, so that is sorted. Lost a few bits I need so they are on order. All I need to do really is bolt in a few bits, change the oil and filters, ride it for an MOT and I’m done. Probably get new tyres put on it.

Bit scared of the chain, not sure I did a good enough job putting the link on. I’ll ride it gently to the garage and ask them to check it.

Oh, need to buy a new exhaust just because I want to.

Then it’ll go for new belts. Then I can ride it properly. Might buy myself a new helmet to celebrate, my old ones are housing spiders.
