I really like the look of that, and I'm not an IL4 kinda guy. It looks way better than the original and has a very purposeful air about it, without a lot of the hipsterbollocks that normally accompanies these builds. Thumbs up and a 4.9 out of 5 from me.

I've seen a few of these. The best was one done in classic Yamaha race colours, white and red.

I have potential acces to a decent Fazer & a high mileage but well looked after Thundercat too 🤔

That's pretty tidy.
All black is a bit if a cheat because it hides a multitude of sins but even so it's tricky to take a modern framed water cooled bike and make it look anything like 'classic'

I've got my auld Fazer so all i need is a set of blingy gold USD forks, some clip ons, a rattle can tin of satin black and a funny seat :thumbsup:

The bike sported a 599cc 16-valve inline four from the YZF600 Thundercat, making just under 100 bhp in stock tune
The Fazer is at least 10bhp down on that figure, would that be just because of the difference in carbs & airbox arrangement? ie are the engines exactly the same?
