Anyone had their bike's NOx tested for ULEZ

Have you had your bike tested for NOx emissions and were you pretty sure it'd pass beforehand.
Thinking I might get the R1100RT tested?

Do you need to test?
AFAIK ULEZ compliance is based on date of Registration and (IIIRC) Euro 4 compliancr. My VFR was initially non-compliant based on reg date, but a letter to Honda got me a Euro 4 compliance statement and I had an individual ULEZ compliance based on that.

Not me personally, but several of the fazer 600/1000 boys have gone that route.
Even though the 2005 fazer 1000 is listed as compliant, all other years have to be tested individually.
I've heard of a place in that there London which can get 2t through.

Just filled out an online form on Honda's website to get a CoC for F-i-L's 2007 SH300. I think Honda charge for it though, unlike Mercedes who sent me one FOC for my e220.

I had my CBR 900 (1995) passed quite easily according to the readout

What year is your bm? - I got my 2006 GS through by getting some paperwork from BMW & submitting it to TFL.

Copied from UKGSER forum, I think this is the route I took:-
Ask BMW headquarters for the necessary document, an EC COC, for your vehicle to satisfy TFL that the emissions on your motorcycle comply with their emission regulations and can be exempted from the ULEZ charges.
You email a picture of your log book/registration document to
[email protected] with the briefest of explanations why you require said document that your vehicle complies with. They email the document back to you.
You then forward it on, along with the copy/picture of your log book/reg document to TFL, using their own website, in the section marked "why you think your vehicle should be exempt".
They will respond, it can be within 2 days or 10 days, luck of the draw.. One of my bikes took 2 days, the others between 3-7 days. I've also know people have to apply a couple of times after wrongly being refused. Don't get angry if this happens, just re-apply until it lands in someones inbox who knows what they're doing.

I did this for a Honda 600 Fazer and it took less than a week to be added to TFL. The whole process was free.

Sorry my mistake it was a Honda CBR600F-6. I wrongly assumed the 'f' stood for 'Fazer'.. still new to all these bike names. (I think the bike before might have been a Fazer).

1996. I bought it from BMW Monchengladbach as an ex-demo so hopefully it being, originally, a non-UK bike won't be an issue.

Euro 3 for bikes, but if it's not officially Euro 3 (or higher) you have to either get a CoC or a test.
