Tubeless for MTB

Talk to me about it. I'm still running tubes and haven't made the move yet. Rims are compatible, I'm happy with what's involved and understand the benefits but the fact that I would still need to carry a tube and pump/CO2 kind of negate the main benefit for me - which is carrying less crap on ride.

Been a while since I had a puncture on a tube, but it's sods law you'll get one when you've not got a spare.

Maybe. Can depend non tyres too, mine are burly AM rubber, so them and being tubeless, should be fine

I have run an Ibex on my Production Privee - went up tubeless okay on a Spank rim.
I first set my bikes up as tubeless about 3 or 4 years ago. My first run out, I split a tyre - 3 cm gash. And no spare tube etc.
TBH, I tend to go out without a tube - but with CO2 cartridges and anchovies. I have given away too many tubes - so I guess it is payback time if it does happen.
