I sent the boss this pic, for some reason he took one look and I haven’t heard from him again, not sure why 😂

I'm trying to work out why you've colour matched your bike to your interior...

No it’s a removable ply floor that’s been carpeted , that and the unit are all removable 👍

Ah. It's the light on it looks like a reflection. Made it look like 'marble' tiles. :D

(And the shadow of the pedal looks like a reflection).

Lol, liking the idea of marble tiles though 😁

Normal condition of a Downs bike, this time of year.
The debate is always "Do you clean it, or just not bother?"

There's no discussion for me. Even on 2 days out back-to-back it still gets cleaned after day 1 so it can be checked and make sure it's 100%.

Bemused you haven't got a small pressure washer to get the muck off before you put it in the van.

It does make cleaning 100X easier, when it's still wet from riding you'll get 90% of the dirt off in minutes... obviously taking some care but still easy enough to do.

I have one of those mobis, just powerful enough to clean off wet mud and hold enough water to easily clean 2 bikes

Yup, me too... works well... plenty of reports of quality control issues with them, but mine has been golden.

That's a portent of what it'll be like for us on the South Downs tomorrow. :o

Just walked the dogs, not to bad on the tops of the Downs but the climbs/descents were slidey and full of sniper roots and the bottoms were up to winter standard Somme setting.

I clean brakes suspension and drivetrain after a ride, big clean once a month or so. Ebikes don’t like water near them so I dont 😃

The pic was from a dry one hour ride, the ground was wet. By the time I’d left the woods and rode home the bike was dry. There’s no cleaning it when wet cos it just isn’t when I get home unless raining.

Yesterday (Friday) came down a mostly chalk descent to West Dean (West Sussex) at 25-30mph, then hit the mud at the bottom which almost stopped the bike dead. My riding buddy and me then voted to go home rather than to attempt our favourite climb to Kingsley Vale because for sure we'd never make it. Or at least, I might have on my eBike but he wouldn't have on his analogue bike.
