S1000RR 2023
The revised S1000RR for 2023
They’ve made some aesthetic changes, I’m not a huge fan of the wings, but the changes that they’ve made to the electronics and the settings within the dash with regards to DDC and how the shift light works now is pretty much the only gripe I have with the previous years bike, they’ve also made that the last screen you were using is the screen that is on when you switch the bike on again, on mine it always returns to the pure screen as they call it. I wonder if these small changes can be added to the previous years with a software update.
Slightly more power, better brakes, slide control etc etc.
Well tbh I don’t mind the shift light on mine, it works a treat and is very easy to see but when you almost hit the limiter the whole rpm gauge flashes and I thought “that would be ideal as the shift light” and that’s what they’ve done now, I always thought they missed a trick with not doing that.

Re: S1000RR 2023
First ride on my bike and it did the flashing rev counter trick,I thought I'd broken something.
Anyway,do I see a trade in Beemer coming your way?

Nah no chance, I’d be interested in the software update if that became available for the dash and the settings.

Re: S1000RR 2023
Yeah he’s quick, great to watch, I like his presenting style, straight to the point. I thought it was funny in 44 teeth’s video when Chris overtook Chris, thought he’d have left that one out.
Re: S1000RR 2023
Yea Chris Northover is great to watch and has obviously been riding and racing for years. Chris Eades seems handy enough! Always seemed like he had raced before up until the last couple of years.

Re: S1000RR 2023
I’ve seen Chris improve a fair bit since doing the 44T stuff, plenty track time etc then he started doing some racing albeit not very much.

Re: S1000RR 2023
In the Aberdare park race vid on 44 Teeth Chris Northover overtook Al Fagin on the grass on the GasGas, Al did mention it in the vid. Someone in the comments asked how Chris did and Al replied "Chris has more talent in his ballbag than the rest of the grid put together"
I'd agree his presenting style is great and the stuff he does against the cars is a good watch either on BikeWorld or Carwow.
44 Teeth Chris looks like he's come on a lot since starting 44 Teeth.
