Vauxhall Viva. We can't have the clergy swanning round in tarty cars with banging tunes.

Oh, and it must be beige :)

My mum used to have a fairly min Morris Minor. Mint until my brother polished it with "holy wax", the candle drippings from Church candles and stripped the paint from the boot.... oh was she happy! For once it was NOT my fault!

Scooby is a nice thought, Viva? Urgghh. Beige, more urrgh. This vicar rides a motorcycle and has a smidgeon of style. The SEL63 is aces as is the Diablo, but remember, my stipend is small and my license is needed!

Father Brown made do with a bicycle.

Failing that a battered old landrover.
"Of all the stories you told me, which ones were true and which ones weren't?"
"My dear Doctor, they're all true."
"Even the lies?"
"Especially the lies."

This reminds me of an incident back in the 60’s
We were in Ireland visiting Family. My Aunt was a Nun.
Whilst at the Nunnery, four of the Nuns were due to go out in their car but it wouldn’t start.
Up steps my Dad , and tried to give the Driver instructions for bump starting. It just wasn’t going to happen. So my Dad suggests that he drive , and the four Nuns provided the muscle.
To me as a seven year old it didn’t seem funny , but as I reminisce, it must have looked hilarious.
Bear in mind the times , the Nuns were in the full outfit down to their shoes.
