MotoGP - Motegi
Suzuki are running their take on the Ducati rear aero devices in FP1 today. Suggests there must be something to it, although aesthetically I'm still not a fan.

Re: MotoGP - Motegi
There was some sort of logistics issue so only FP1 today, which was longer than usual. Started around 7am our time.

Me too.
I found highlights on YT though.
Was impressed with Cal, spent most of the session in the top 10, ended up 17th but only 0.6 sec off Miller.

Shitty weather,I hope it's better for the race, because that was a dull, bleak spectacle.

Forecast's better for tomorrow, just of rain overnight then overcast for the day. Wonder if Marquez can hold on in the dry?

Re: MotoGP - Motegi
So what’s the forum consensus on the effects of electronic rider aids in rubbish weather?
Do we have (still) the best rider in the world on pole in Motegi due to conditions, as opposed to the best electronics package in the world on pole!
I’m inclined to think we do

Re: MotoGP - Motegi
100%
The Honda is multi world champ because of Marquez, not the other way around.
He's head and shoulders above anyone else despite the Honda. If he's fit, he'll dominate the championship again.
Don't get me wrong, the rest are brilliant. But he's brillianter
